Hi y'all this is going to be a long post cause as I head into my third week of college I have A LOT to say!!

So Welcome Weekend an action filled, no sleep, social stravaganza of a weekend that my college, Azusa Pacific University puts on. During this weekend I met my new besties, more friends, went to speeches, church services, club fairs, real fairs, and carnivals, concerts, and tons of fun!!! But unfortunately all fun has to end, and reality hits. My Dad and stepmom had to leave and start traveling back home. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I've been faced with. Luckily my mom stayed an extra day and I got to hangout and go to Pasadena the following day, and get just a little more time with my mom. But again reality hit and she had to go back home too, and once again I had to overcome one of the hardest things I've had to do.

But it was time for me to follow my dream and grow as a person, and what better place than at Azusa Pacific University a place I'm proud to call my home away from home.

The next week was a whirlwind of events, school, and dance party USA in our dorm. I went to my first college classes, experienced my first earthquake, snuck into the college apartment pool, my first concert seeing Colony House, and my first college football game!!

So let me back track, college is a little harder than I thought. I had 10 chapter to read in TWO days on the FIRST week. But hey thats adulting I guess. Other than that school is pretty great!

But y'all I experienced my first earthquake, AND I DIDNT EVEN CRY. Wow maybe I really am growing up. But in all honesty it was so weird, I just thought I tripped on my own feet which is common cause I'm clumsy. But it almost felt like life kind of stopped for a few seconds, it was weird. But everyone was okay just a little shaken up, haha get it ;)

So next yes we snuck into the apartments pool, and by snuck I mean we just walked in lol. But anyways some people were already playing games so we joined the fun. When we all decided it was too cold thought we'd all go sneak into the other apartment pool where there was a hot tub, and there is where we hopped a really tallllll fence. Once warm inside the hot tub we played the ultimate ice breaker, never have I ever, and learned we all had never sky dived.

COLONY HOUSE did a concert at my school. I danced and sung and head banged until my heart was content. it was SO fun!!

The first football game was so fun, especially because it was a team from my home town. It was so exciting! Everybody brought there cutest game outfits. I got to run onto the field in my new ZU shirt. Also we WON!! And I got the most delicious Carmel apple.

So far I've been to Pasadena three times, almost every weekend. La once, which melrose is so cute and cool, Definitely recommend, and the Grove too!

Ive had sushi stop like four times, its SO good. Its a must do, cause come on where else can you find sushi rolls for $3.25, like thats unheard of!!

Also I've met some of the most amazing people my new friends Sienna, Chloe, Mackie, and Ansley. They're the best souls, seriously. I've had so much fun.

So y'all Cali life is good, missing home but I really am having the most amazing time. This new chapter of my life is already full of so many blessings.
